Tom Hardy Bails on 'Suicide Squad'; Jake Gyllenhaal May Replace as Rick Flagg!


Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Tom Hardy has dropped out of DC Comics upcoming Suicide Squad adaption. It is due to his commitments to promoting Mad Max: Fury Road as well as shooting his upcoming film The Revenant. The Wrap then goes onto reveal that DC Comics is already looking at Prince of Persia star Jake Gyllenhall to replace Hardy as Rick Flagg. This would have Gyllenhall once again team-up with director David Ayer after their last film together End of Watch.
