Wait is Dwayne Johnson 'Shazam' or 'Black Adam'?!

Several years ago Dwayne Johnson was approached by DC Comics to play Black Adam in a possible Captain Marvel (Shazam) film. The movie never got into development and then Dwayne Johnson's name was attached to several other characters in the DC Universe but nothing got into development. Now Dwayne Johnson has once again confirmed 100% to be signed onto a mysterious DC characters role. Some thought it could be Darkseid or even John Stewart (Green Lantern). Well just last week Dwayne Johnson teased his role once again but was carful not to spill the beans before the official announcement by DC. But the tease was that this character has "The power of Superman....Just say the word" and many know Billy Batson shouts "Shazam!" to turn into the superhero Shazam....Well, today he posted a image of Black Adam once again battling Shazam. So which is it? Black Adam or Shazam?!

Most in the fan community agree he looks like Black Adam but lets face it. It's taken DC and Johnson forever to get him in as a villian (and at one point anti-hero Lobo) so the idea that he is some obscure villain in one Shazam feature seems silly. This is The Rock. DC wants him in a franchise and Justice League eventually so maybe he is Shzam?! Let's hope it's announced this Saturday at Hall H at the San Diego Comic-Con!

Shazam is rumored to hit in 2016 but that has yet to be confirmed....
