There is rumor running on Ain't It Cool News about Bryan Singer's X Men: Days of Future Past. It has been reported through their sources that film was not only filmed in Native Stereo 3D but also at 48 fps or High Frame Rate.

X:DoFP was shot in HFR and will be released in 48fps. The filmmakers played coy because of the negative reaction to the technology when the Hobbit film was released, but love the results and will be standing behind a theatrical release in high frame rate.

I'm thinking this source is legit and plus it would make sense since Evan Peters talked about filming his Quicksilver scenes at 3600 fps. Since their is no press release all we can do now is wait. Stay tuned for more.

DEBUNKED: StarkIndustriesRU has contacted Fox Studios and they have denied the rumor.

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters next summer.
