New Details From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Video Game Revealed Via Beenox

Earlier today we saw the very first teaser trailer to the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game. The creators of the video game, Beenox have gone straight too Twitter to reveal some interesting details regarding the game. It seems the video game will expand on the ever growing Marc Webb Spider-Man universe with references to some potential sequel baddies. If you listen closely in the teaser trailer you would've heard a clear reference to Fisk Tower. Fisk Tower is where Wilson Fisk is based and Wilson Fisk is better known for his alternate identity, The Kingpin. While this may seem confusing considering Marvel now owns the rights to Daredevil, Avi Arad and Marc Webb revealed Sony can use Kingpin in their Spider-Man universe, like Fox is using Quicksilver in next year's X-Men: Days Of Future Past. At the very start of the teaser trailer you can clearly see The Daily Bugle building, this isn't confirmation that The Daily Bugle will appear in the film, but they will serve a role in the video game to some degree.

Apart from easter eggs for us nerds, Beenox also revealed that the game has gone through a complete reworking. That means finally, the web slinging is now more realistic, the company revealed that web will now stick to buildings and that you can't sky swing. Speaking of webbing, Beenox revealed that there will be different types of webbing such as sticky web, cyro web & impact web. The web slinging will now use both triggers in order to make web slinging much more fun and more realistic.

The video game is set to be released in Spring of 2014, just before the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
