WATCH DOGS Set To Hit The Big Screen Before The HALO Movie

Yes, you read the title correct. A video game that hasn't even hit stands yet is getting a feature film before Halo. What game would that be? Watch Dogs. Watch Dogs is perhaps the most anticipated video game for the rest of the year (having to beat the likes of FIFA 14, WWE2k14 & Destiny) and the game has garnered some extremely good reviews prior to it's release, with sites calling it "amazing" or "incredible"; Could this be the first video game movie franchise that is actually... Good? The film will be produced by Sony Pictures who are adapting Assassin's Creed for the big screen as we speak. An official press statement was released earlier today:
“Sony Pictures and New Regency are ideal partners for us, their deep production expertise and willingness to allow us to maintain a strong creative voice in the film means that we’re on track to deliver a movie that can build upon the excitement that Watch Dogs already is generating as a game.”
With this exciting news how do you guys feel about a film adaption of a game that's not even out yet? Well, I can't really say I don't want to see it. The film will be overseen by Ubisoft, Sony Pictures and Columbia Pictures.
