Legendary Pictures Trades 'Batman vs Superman' for 'Interstellar'

Legendary will be backing out of distributing 'Batman/Superman' team-up movie

It was reported earlier this year that Legendary Pictures and Warner brother will be parting ways after this year. Legendary is moving on to join up with Universal while WB moves on with Dune Productions. But what of the hugely successful Man of Steel and its sequel Batman vs Superman? Well seems like Legendary doesn't want any part of it. It wont be hard to find a replacement or DC and Warner Bro's may take a play out of the Marvel Studios playbook and produce their own films.

Legendary will instead move on and produce Christopher Nolans 'Interstellar' which went into production yesterday.

Stay tuned to SMN as this story develops....
