KICK-ASS 2 Cast & Crew Discuss Jim Carrey's Snub

Star of Kick-Ass 2, Chloe Grace-Mortez and creator of the iconic comic book, Mark Millar recently sat down with Digital Spy to discuss Jim Carrey's departure from the films' marketing and publicity. Early last month it was reported that Jim Carrey would not be taking part in the marketing of the film, revealing on his twitter account that the film was "to violent." Kick-Ass creator, Mark Millar discussed with Digital Spy about Jim's decision. While young star, Chloe Grace-Moretez reveals her take on the situation, you can watch the interview in the embed interview below. For the transcript, see below!

Mark Millar On The Topic:
"People keep saying to me, 'Are you pissed off at Jim Carrey?' No, I'm delighted with Jim Carrey, this is amazing. For your main actor to publicly say, 'This movie is too violent for me' is like saying, 'This porno has too much nudity. 'We'll have to go and see this now', you know?"
Director, Jeff Wadlow On The Topic:
"The thing we love about Jim Carrey is that you don't know what he is going to say [In his movies] and even in real life, you don't know what he's going to say! (laughs) I think he's fantastic in the film, and everyone has their own opinion of the film. "
Chloe Grace-Moretz On The Situation:
"I loved him in the movie, I mean he had a change of heart. We all do, I guess I can only speak for my character, so yeah."
Kick-Ass 2 is set to hit theatres everywhere August 16th
