Joel Edgerton May Join 'Exodus' Opposite Christan Bale

Joel Edgerton may be cast as Ramses in Ridley Scott's 'Exodus'

Next year we are gonna get the biblical epic 'Noah' directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Russel Crowe. Now another famous director Ridley Scott is bringing another "biblical epic" to the screen. Its called 'Exodus' and it will star Christan Bale as Moses. The prince of Egypt who learns he is not Egyptian but the son of the slaves of Egypt; the Israelites. How far they differ from the original bible story remains to be seen.

Now according to IndieWire Joel Edgerton may join the cast as Ramses the Pharaoh of Egypt. Ridley Scott talks about Ramses and Moses relationship earlier this year..

"What's interesting to me about Moses isn't the big stuff that everybody knows. It's things like his relationship with Ramses [II, the pharaoh]. I honestly wasn't paying attention in school when I was told the story of Moses. Some of the details of his life are extraordinary"
The film starts shooting this September and is penned by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, with rewrites by Steve Zaillian.
