Have Warner Bros' Been Planning A BATMAN/SUPERMAN Movie Since 2009? Christian Bale Rumour Is A FAKE

Good god some people are stupid. Ever since last month's San Diego Comic-Con, the buzz around the upcoming Man Of Steel sequel is incredible. Now, like many, I had my doubts over a Batman Vs. Superman film right after Man Of Steel. And I mean, who doesn't have doubts? We basically just got to know Superman, why throw Batman in there? But, many assume this is Warner Bros' and DC, latching on to the success of last year's The Avengers. That's where Think Mcfly Think comes in. The site has been one of the best sites for news and rumours surrounding the upcoming Man Of Steel sequel. The site reports that, Warner Bros', Zack Snyder, David S. Goyer and potential 'Batman' star, Jeffrey Dean Morgan always planned for this film to follow Man Of Steel. In an interview from 2009, Zack Snyder discussed the idea of having a The Dark Knight Returns film all along. Snyder says:
"I'm interested in Frank Miller's [graphic novel] The Dark Knight Returns. That's really my favourite comic book. The studio has this massive franchise and I don't think they'll let me make a Batman movie where he's 50 years old and Ronald Reagan is president."
Now, for all of you saying, "why Dark Knight Returns?" Well, the first big fight between Batman and Superman happens in that. Now to get this idea across even more, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (who is one of the rumoured actors to play 'Batman' in Man Of Steel 2) also touched on the idea of starring in a The Dark Knight Returns film.
"I've heard Zack mention he'd like to do it in the media a few times recently. I'd love to see myself in that role. I don't think [Warner] will do it at the moment, not with what The Dark Knight is doing. But the studio loves Zack, and if Watchmen does as well as we hope it does, you never know, he might get a crack at this thing."
Now, I know none of this is cold hard evidence that the studio has always wanted to do this, but I would be one to assume the studio has always had this film in mind to follow Man Of Steel. As I have said before, it seems very odd that a studio would just announce a huge film like this out of the blue. With all of this being said, do you think Jeffrey Dean Morgan is in talks to play 'Batman' in Man Of Steel 2?

UPDATE: Christian Bale Rumour Is A FAKE

The quote that was posted on this site and many other sites all over the internet turned out to be part of an actual quote. Now, many sites just thought that because a book said it, it means it's completely true. Well as a matter of fact, we didn't even see the full quote. The quote that was leaked online, a sixth of an huge quote. The full quote from the book Beyond Batman is this:
“He could probably make $50 million for being in the movie 20 minutes,” my friend [who worked on The Dark Knight Rises and many other films produced by Legendary Pictures] observed. “And it would be worth every penny to the studio.” Sources close to Christian Bale have reportedly begun expressing their suspicions that Bale now views the Batman films in the same light that Robert Downey, Jr. views the Iron Man films."
Sorry fanboys and fangirls, looks like we'll be seeing a new 'Batman' in Man Of Steel 2.
