ANT-MAN Set To Begin Pre-Production In October This Year; Begins Shooting Early Next Year

Collider recently caught up with The World's End director, Edgar Wright. Wright is one of those directors' every fanboy and fangirl cannot help but love, because of his quirky humour and awesome comic book references in most of his movies, the director is one to admire. Edgar Wright will tackle the very tiny character of 'Ant-Man'; the movie is set to hit theatres in 2015. Collider had a pretty long interview with the king of nerds himself, but I sought of found the stuff that we comic book fans wanna hear, and that's news about our favourite Avenger, Ant-Man. Wright reveals that the film had been in development hell since 2007! When Wright revealed that pre-production will commence in October (as said in the interview below); this would mean we will get some casting news around then! Rumoured actor Armie Hammer has denied the rumour that he will play Ant-Man, but he doesn't seem to convincing. When asked when the film will enter pre-production, Edgar Wright answered:
"I'm starting doing pre-production on Ant-Man in October, and then shooting next year. And I'm basically like once this press tour is done, I've got to take a month off. I never took a holiday after Scott Pilgrim, so I've now gone two films in a row without actually a proper vacation. So in October, I'm going to start a script which has existed in some form since 2007, so it's great to kind of come back into something, which is in good shape, so that's exciting."
You can watch the full interview below, but the Ant-Man stuff begins at the 24:05 mark.

Ant-Man is set to hit theatres everywhere, November 6th, 2015.
